Conclusion • The vacuum group does not see any reason to trigger a beam dump from a vacuum signal • If the decision from the management is to use a hardware alarm from vacuum, the vacuum group can provide a digital signal (relay) to the equipment owner • The vacuum group will not be responsible of the CIBU and this crate shall be installed in the racks of the equipment owner • The cables shall be requested by the equipment owner • If an HW alarm is used, the relays thresholds must be defined by the equipment owner • Vacuum/pressure measurements can be published in CMW/DIP/LASER • Vacuum/pressure measurements are published in XPOC for post mortem analysis • New gauge in TD 62 are already published • New gauge in TD 68 will be published during the next SCADA update (March) • Vacuum SCADA can send SMS on a specific threshold, slope, … 02/10/2020 G.
