How They Got Into The Gaming Market The Sony Corporation is made up of different 4 groups. The group we researched was Sony Interactive Entertainment or Sony Computer Entertainment. This sect of the Sony corporation was created in November 1993 to deal with Sony's movement into developing video games, a venture that got started due to what was intended to be a collaboration between Sony & Nintendo, that failed. Back in 1986 Nintendo had already created floppy disk technology & due to a man named Ken Kutaragi (who had been working with Nintendo without Sony's knowledge, when he was still working there) got Nintendo to use Sony's SPC-700 processor in the SNES controller, after watching his daughter play a Nintendo console & noticing how bad the sounds were, because of this past dealing Nintendo chose to approach Sony to create the CD-ROM addon for the SNES-CD as well. However Nintendo would eventually choose to end this deal causing Sony to go off & create their own console.

Ibuka was able to secure the license to use transistor technology for his radio repair shop, which made Tokyo Tsushin kogyo one of the first companies to use transistors for non-military use, & they also gave the world its first transistorized television & helped push the idea that made in japan was a good thing. Ibuka also wrote a book called Kindergarten is too late in which he says that the most important learning takes place in the first 3 years of our life & gives ways to take advantage of this. (the book also contained a foreword by Glenn Doman, founder of I. A. H. P. , as the both of the agreed that early years of our lives were crucial to education.

During his service, Morita met his future business partner, Masaru Ibuka in the Navy's Wartime Research Committee. 2)Naughty Dog, Inc. (formerly Jam Software before renaming in 1989) is an American video game developer based in Santa Monica, California. Founded by Andy Gavin and Jason Rubin in 1984 as an independent developer, the studio was acquired by Sony Interactive Entertainment (as Sony Computer Entertainment) in 2001. Gavin and Rubin produced a sequence of progressively more successful games, including Rings of Power for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive in 1991 and Way of the Warrior for the 3 DO in 1994. The latter – a very low-budget but still plausible offering – prompted Universal Interactive Studios to sign the duo to a three title deal and fund the expansion of the company. Ultimately, this led to the release of Crash Bandicoot for the Play. Station on August 31, 1996. Naughty Dog developed three Crash Bandicoot sequels over the next several years. In January 2001, it was announced Sony would acquire Naughty Dog. After developing Crash Team Racing, the company began working on Jak and Daxter for the Play. Station 2. The company's first Play. Station 3 title, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, was released in 2007, its sequel, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, in 2009, and Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception in November 2011. Naughty Dog was known for having a history of developing one game at a time, and also one franchise per console; a controversial trend that was criticized by fans. This lasted until Naughty Dog announced a new intellectual property called The Last of Us at the Spike Video Game Awards on December 10, 2011 for the Play. Station 3, which was in development by a second team at the studio and was released in June 2013 to universal acclaim. Beginning in early 2014, the studio has experienced multiple departures, the highest level of departure being lead Uncharted writer Amy Hennig. Their latest game is an installment in the Uncharted series, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, which was released on May 10, 2016 after being teased at the Play. They are well known for their interactive drama story based games such as Heavy Rain, Indigo Prophecy and Beyond: Two Souls. Quantic Dream announced a new game on 4 June 2012 at E 3, which was released exclusively for the Play. Station 3 on October 2013 called Beyond: Two Souls. The Dark Sorcerer is a tech demo for the Play. Station 4 by Quantic Dream. Studio founder David Cage first displayed a portion of the demo during the February 2013 Play. Station Meeting. The video showed a real-time 3 D rendering of a human actor's face as he cycled through a series of emotions. Cage presented the example to demonstrate how "Play. Station 4 game creators can now forget about technology limitations and focus on creating experiences never seen before" and added that the technology would be advanced further and featured in future Quantic Dream games. A full 12 -minute video of the "old man" was released during E 3 2013. Despite the title, The Dark Sorcerer is a "Next-Gen Comedy", a departure from the developer's signature dark tone found in their previous titles. While the demo displays a dark fantasy setting, the tone is set when it reveals that it takes place on a film set where the "old man" attempts to get through a complicated take. On 21 March 2013, they announced that they are working on a Play. Station 4 game. At Sony's Paris Games Week press conference, this game was revealed to be titled Detroit: Become Human, and is based on their previous Kara tech demo.
