Skydiving Angel saves Skydiver Revelations 14: 6

Skydiving Angel, the Picture … Do you see the angel in the picture? An angel in midair that literally saved the ill fated skydiver. The skydiver was Jeff Colley and this is an actual picture of the angel that saved him. Witnesses who watched in horror thought he would meet certain death. But, in the last few seconds something miraculous happened. Where do I fit in? My name is Ray Pye and on July-16 -05 I spent the entire day with Jeff preparing to do my first Accelerated Free Fall jump. While I could write several paragraphs about the required training, Jeff’s great instructional technique, and what it’s like to jump from an aircraft and then free fall at 120 mph for approximately 45 seconds, I won’t. All I want to focus on is the angel in this picture! I completed my jump about 4: 00 pm and as customary in the sport you buy your instructor a bottle of his favorite spirits or a case of beer. As soon as you remove and stow all of your gear one begins to celebrate, as I did. It was about 5: 00 pm and I was sitting in the lobby looking at all the incredible pictures of years past. When, I finally saw Jeff’s picture I was mesmerized by it. I must have examined it for five minutes before I asked, “Jeff, what in the world is this a picture of? ” Jeff responded, “On the day of that jump I had a major malfunction of both of my chutes and I almost died. ” He then said, “A lot of my friends believe this was my guardian angel that saved me that day. ” I responded, “Jeff, I can assure you that this was your guardian angel that saved you. ”

Skydiving Angel, the Picture … I then asked, “What malfunctions did you have? ” Jeff responded, “Shortly after my main chute deployed, it failed and collapsed. I immediately cut it away and quickly pulled the rip cord on my reserve chute which initially didn’t even come out of the pack. ” “I’m not even sure what I did or what happened but it finally deployed and I had one swing, one swing before I hit the ground. ” I responded, “My God, that’s as close as you can come to dying. ” Then I asked Jeff, “So, you took this picture? ” Jeff answered, “Yes, right after landing I took off all my gear and went inside to get a soda. ” “All of a sudden this strong impulse came over me to go outside and take a picture of the sky. ” “So I got my digital camera went outside and pointed the camera toward the southwest, angled it up slightly and with no image in the view finder but the clouds I took the picture. “By the time I brought the camera down and looked at the display, this is the image I saw. ” I interrupted Jeff and angered him when I asked, “Jeff, wait a minute, is this picture doctored in any way? ” His response, “Of course not, I almost died that day and I took the picture, of course not. ” I also asked, “Was anybody else out on the platform and did they see anything with the naked eye? ” Jeff, “There were seven or eight people outside and no, no one saw anything. ” So, given that Jeff almost died just three or four minutes before he took this picture is it possible he was saved by an angel? If angels don’t exist, then why are they mentioned 108 times in the Old Testament and 165 times in the New Testament?
