SKILL RELATED FITNESS n n Fitness components important for success in skillful activities and athletic events. Encompasses agility, balance, coordination, power, reaction time and speed.

AGILITY The ability to change and control the direction and position of the body

AGILITY The ability to change and control the direction and position of the body while maintaining constant, rapid motion. n Key activities such as: basketball, soccer, racquet sports, skiing, ect: any sport/activity you need to change direction quickly. n

BALANCE The ability to control or stabilize the body when a person is standing
