• GCIT Cooperative education will be offered on an individual basis when school is in session on campus. • All stakeholders will be aware that the coop experience may be postponed in the event of a school shut down. • Continuation of a cooperative education placement during a shutdown requiring remote learning will be considered on an individual basis.

 • Where in-person work-based learning experiences are feasible during the COVID-19 pandemic, students

• Where in-person work-based learning experiences are feasible during the COVID-19 pandemic, students will be offered the ability to participate, with appropriate health and safety training. • Many employers may not permit student learners onsite due to the economy and health and safety concerns. • GCIT teachers and staff will work with business partners to create virtual activities that develop and reinforce technical, academic and employability skills and align to students’ education and career goals.
