Reopening K-6 Hybrid Schedule Attend school in person Cohort Monday Tuesday Virtual Learning (Synchronous and Asynchronous learning opportunities Wednesday AA (Cohort A-L) Cohort AA/BB will rotate BB (Cohort M-Z) Each week To allow for additional time in school for students Thursday Friday Special Class Grades K-6 & PACE *Please note that students' cohort assignments will be by last name A-L and M-Z and every effort will be made to accommodate special circumstances within our constraints

K-6 Hybrid Learning Model- 50% of Students Combination of in-person and remote learning AA/BB Schedule K-6 Remote Model – 100% Students All Students AA/BB Schedule q Students come to school 2 x per week q AA/BB Cohort Model q Consistency of Instruction q Small group ratio during live classes Schedule q Students in remote learning will receive communication daily with teachers i. e. personalized videos, voice over presentations, and will work independently. q Vulnerable Students (Special Education students in integrated settings, and ENL ) will receive additional targeted supports, in person and/or remotely throughout the week q Special Education Students in special classes grades K-6 will attend school every day q Students in PACE will attend school every day q Social and Emotional needs will be met by building community in class and in partnership with Special Support Staff Schedule q Teachers will provide Synchronous, live virtual lessons on Monday-Friday. q Cohort AA will meet in the morning, cohort BB in the afternoon. Times developmentally aligned with best practice K-2 (25 -35 minutes) 3 -4 (30 -40 minutes) 5 -6 ( 35 -45 minutes) q Parents continue to have communication with teacher q Vulnerable Students (Special Education students in integrated settings, and ENL ) will receive additional targeted supports, in person and/or remotely throughout the week q Social and Emotional needs will be met by building community in class and in partnership with Special Support Staff

Enriching Curriculum, Social Emotional & Health and Safety Guidelines, Flexibility & Consistency • Consistency for Students/Teachers of 40 minute periods • Staggering schedules, allows for greater social distancing for arrivals, dismissals, transitions and in cafeteria/frees • Opportunites for students to meet with counselors • Allows for greater social distancing in large classes, i. e. , Physical Education • 9 th grade classes begin earlier vs. 12 th grade classes end later. This will create less density in periods throughout day • Minimal structural change to current Master Schedule • Smooth Transition from 50% to 100% schedule or Distance Learning

7 -12 Hybrid Learning Model 7 -12 Remote Model – 100% Students All Students No AA/BB Schedule q Students come to school 2 x per week q Students and teachers will follow a period schedule Schedule q Staggered Schedule q Virtual Learning- when the cohort is not in school, they will be given Synchronous(in real time learning) and Asynchronous (independent virtual learning) opportunities (live streamed in class) q Vulnerable Students (Special Education students in integrated settings, and ENL ) will receive additional targeted supports, in person and /or remotely throughout the week q Students in the PACE and Bridge Programs will attend school every day q Social and Emotional needs will be met by building community in class and in partnership with Special Support Staff. Schedule q Teachers will provide Synchronous, live virtual lessons Monday-Friday as well as asynchronous learning opportunities q Students will be required to attend and check in for all Synchronous and Asynchronous lessons q Vulnerable Students (Special Education students in integrated settings, and ENL ) will receive additional targeted supports, in person and/or remotely throughout the week q Breakfast & Lunch will be grab and go (bulk meal distribution) q Social and Emotional needs will be met by building community in class and in partnership with Special Support Staff

STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES Hybrid Model • Related Services- Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Counseling- Providers will contact parents of students on his/her caseload to make a plan for individual students. Students will be met with as per his/her scheduled therapy times either in person or remotely. • RTI services- RTI teachers will provide additional support mostly in a pushin model. For smaller classes, classroom teachers will support the RTI needs of students. Some services may be provided remotely. • • • Guidance Counseling- Counselors- will be available to assist with questions from parents concerning work and special needs. They will meet with individual students to support social and emotional needs as identified through building level support teams. They will continue to assist with surveying students and in-putting course requests when the time comes. English as a New Language- Teachers will modify classroom materials for ENL students in coordination with general education colleagues in inclusive settings. They will provide additional small group/individual support to students to address areas of need and language acquisition. Some services may be provided remotely. Teaching Assistants will be available to assist their classroom teachers by helping to gather resources or by contacting students, under the guidance of their classroom teachers. Teaching assistants will work with students in small groups at the direction of the teachers.
