OBE – Open Basic Education n Education at three levels for school dropout, and out of school learners For Adults above 14 years of age The OBE Programme is offered at three levels: OBE level A : equivalent to class I-III OBE level B : equivalent to class IV-V OBE level C : equivalent to class VI-VIII

Secondary Course n n n Course equivalent to class X minimum of five subjects with atleast one language or atmost two languages. Choose subjects based on table-1 given in the next slide

Senior Secondary Course n n Equivalent to XII required to pass in a minimum

Senior Secondary Course n n Equivalent to XII required to pass in a minimum of five subjects including one or maximum of two languages from Group ‘A’ and other three or four subjects from Group ‘B’. However, you are free to take upto two additional subjects. Thus, in all you can choose a maximum of seven subjects.
