Technical Advice and Support: Provide international and national expertise to the project’s implementing agencies on a wide range of technical issues to improve delivery of the project, and to improve the technical quality of the project outputs Key Technical Issues: • River Basin Planning • Streamflow forecasting and reservoir operation • Water quality assessment

Information Technology, Hardware and Software: Selection of IT and communication equipment hardware and software for data management, data use and data dissemination Contribution to review of major project software development, including the data management software for surface water information (e. SWIS), groundwater data (e. GEMS) and water quality data (e-WQIS). Implementation of uniform guidelines, standard methodologies and compliance of protocols for observation, entry and processing of data for SW, GW and WQ and general resource assessment, and revise them if necessary
