Mrs. Peacock Kindergarten Room #102
Meet Mrs. Peacock I would like to take this opportunity to welcome your child to my class and introduce myself. My name is Maurica Peacock and I am your Kindergarten teacher at Killearn Lakes Elementary School! This is my second year in kindergarten, my 12 th year as a KLES Leprechaun and my 29 th year teaching young children. I love to read, kayak, and walk. At home, I am kept busy by my husband, 4 beautiful daughters, plus a son in law, 2 dogs, 4 cats, and a leopard gecko. It's going to be a year of fun, learning, and soaring adventures!
Education & Experience My passion for teaching began in the preschool setting here in Tallahasse. I have been teaching for 29 years and my love for learning continues to grow every year. I hope that kindergarten will spark a love of learning for your child also. I have a master’s degree in early childhood education and a bachelor’s degree in child development from FSU. I am currently working on my Reading Endorsement.
