Student Expectations Log in to Google Classroom daily. Complete class work on time. Join Google Meets. Be an active learner- participate! Respect others. (Google etiquette) Participate in reading program.

House System The House System is a dynamic, exciting, and proven way to create a positive climate and culture for students and staff. Students earn points for their house by following the student expectations and being outstanding students.

Attendance is a key factor in student achievement. No incentives for attendance this year. GREEN/YELLOW: If you’re sick or running a fever, please stay home. GREEN/YELLOW: We will take EVERY precaution in the classroom to ensure student stay healthy and safe. RED: Attendance will be taken when you submit your work and attend Google Meets.

Bus Expectations Be Responsible – Be obedient to the bus driver and obey all rules. – Avoid excessive noise. – Ride only in your assigned seat. – Provide a written note from parent/guardian if you are getting off the bus at a different location. Use Respect – Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself. – Report any offenses to the driver or principal. – Avoid confrontations. – Talk using appropriate tone, volume, and word choice.

Classwork Videos of lessons will be posted to Google Classroom daily along with assignments. Students must view and complete assignments before joining Google Meets. Google Meet link will be on Google Classroom. Google Meet times will be listed on Google Classroom. Please review the Google Classroom expectations. Students will be held accountable for all assignments. Read 20 minutes daily & take AR tests.

Conferences & Report Cards Progress reports will be sent home every three weeks. Report cards will be sent home at the end of each nineweek period.

Supplies Needed for the Classroom Supply lists can be found on the school’s website. Keep needed supplies at home for online learning. When sending money to school, place it in an envelope/baggie indicating the purpose of the money (i. e. lunch, popcorn/drink. etc. ) with the student’s name on the envelope/baggie. Tissues! Hand Sanitizer

Reopening Plan Green: All students at school with precautions. Yellow: K-2 at school Monday – Thursday; 3 -4 two days per week and online three days per week. Red: Building closed; possibly allowing 25% of students in the building between 8: 00 -11: 00 for additional support, upload/download assignments.

OPENING ON YELLOW PHASE Masks not required but recommended. Respect your classmates! Daily Schedule This schedule is to be used as an outline for a virtual school day. Students are encouraged to log in at 8: 00 a. m. to begin lessons each day and attend Google Meets at scheduled times. However, we understand everyone will not be able to follow this schedule. All lessons will be prerecorded and posted in Google Classroom so that students can work on their assignments at a later time and if they aren’t able to attend meetings during the day.

Wifi Access Students needing wifi access to download or upload assignments can come to the parking lot of SES and join the network by using the password Welcome 1. Google Meets may be scheduled later in the evening by request.
