YOU’VE GOT MAIL

Your mail box key You are assigned a mail box or unit number, this is where your mail is put. Your mailbox key is the way you access your mail, you keep the key until you will no longer be a student at Messiah. At that point, turn it back in at the Campus Post Office service window so you are not assessed a fine. Remember to have your key with you when you come to check your mail, we will not get your mail for you unless your key is inside your mail box. Remember to always remove your key after you have checked your mail. You may share a mailbox with at least one other student (if there are items in your box that are not yours, please leave them there for your mailbox partner. ) There is a $25. 00 replacement fee for a lost key (if you need a new one, go to the Campus Post Office window. The fee is added to your tuition account. )

Our Campus Post Office We are located in the Eisenhower Campus Center on the first floor. We are open Monday - Friday from 9: 30 am until 4: 00 pm. We are closed on weekends.

MAIL BOX COURTESY CHECK YOUR MAIL BOX OFTEN, A COUPLE DAYS A WEEK. PLEASE KEEP YOUR MAIL BOX CLEAN AND EMPTY. THIS ALLOWS US TO PUT YOUR MAIL AND YOUR BOX MATES MAIL INTO THE MAIL BOX.

How to address a letter How much does it cost to send a letter? To a US address, it costs. 49 cents. To an International address, it costs $1. 15. Extra postage is necessary for anything weighing over 1 ounce. Please note - Mail leaves campus every morning around 7: 30 am

How to address a letter for campus mail YOUR NAME & UNIT NUMBER “EXAMPLE” Professor Jones Suite XXXX = 4 digit number Susie Smith y Unit XXXX = 4 digit mailbox Students use “unit” numbers Faculty/staff use “suite” numbers Minimum size for campus mail is 3” x 5”, 10 or more pieces must be rubber banded or clipped together and put in unit number sequence. How much does it cost to send a campus mail letter? Nothing, it is FREE! (no postage required)

Where can I find campus mail addresses? You can find campus mail addresses by using the search feature in MC Square You can find campus mail addresses by using the directories found in MC Square You can also find them in the Outlook email address book.

Where can I buy postage? The Post Office sells stamps and does metering for outgoing USPS packages. We accept cash, checks or Falcon Dollars only. We cannot accept credit or debit cards. We are also a UPS drop off location. You may bring your pre –labeled packages to us.

Where can I buy postage? You can also buy postage, and send international packages at the Grantham Post Office. It is located near the creek, just across the railroad tracks.
