Provisional RA Training � As large group gatherings are currently prohibited, a provisional training

Provisional RA Training � As large group gatherings are currently prohibited, a provisional training process was implemented for new Recovery Assistants. � Agencies submit criminal background checks to ABH and have staff review a power point presentation. Once confirmation of that review is received by ABH, staff are provisionally trained to perform RA services. � Once the RA trainings resume, provisionally trained staff will need to complete the in-person training to continue working as Recovery Assistants.

Telephone Contact � DSS has allowed that CSP and RA services can be provided

Telephone Contact � DSS has allowed that CSP and RA services can be provided via telephone during the Coronavirus period. � Billing for CSP and RA telephone services cannot exceed 2 hours per day, and also must not exceed the weekly authorized amount. � CSP and RA service provided by phone must still be documented on the encounter note. � Please keep clinicians updated if services will no longer be provided face-to-face or if hours are not able to be fulfilled due to staffing shortages.

Home Delivered Meals � During the current Coronavirus outbreak period, DSS has authorized the

Home Delivered Meals � During the current Coronavirus outbreak period, DSS has authorized the additional service of “Shelf Stable Meals” to Home Delivered Meal service providers. � Please let clinicians know if clients are struggling to obtain food during this time so that Home Delivered Meals can be added to their plan if necessary.

Transition to direct billing through DXC � Billing through DXC began for all services provided on February 1, 2020 or later. Any questions regarding authorizations should be directed to ABH. Any questions regarding billing or payment should be directed to DXC. � The following services will continue to be billed through ABH: � Highly Skilled Chore service � Assistive Technology � Specialized Medical Equipment � Home Accessibility Adaptations

Electronic Visit Verification � Due to the Coronavirus there have not been any meetings

Electronic Visit Verification � Due to the Coronavirus there have not been any meetings regarding the implementation of EVV. � If you agency is not already utilizing Sandata, there will be workshops scheduled in the future to assist you. � We will keep you posted with any updates we receive.

MHW Advisory Council � Meets twice a year in April and October � Open

MHW Advisory Council � Meets twice a year in April and October � Open to any MHW provider to send a representative � We encourage staff to identify MHW clients who might be interested in participating. Staff can bill for time spent with client at meeting.
