One Day Medical Encounters (ODMEs) and Patient Simulation ODMEs take place in SIMS Medical Center: A nationally recognized virtual teaching hospital at Springfield Technical Community College.
Job Retention Data With Patient Simulation: 59 of 61 students (96. 7%) who went through the PCT program at STCC and participated in Patient Simulation were still employed at Baystate Health one year after the completion of the program. Without Patient Simulation: 7 of 61 (11. 4%) who did not have simulation as part of their educational program were still employed at Baystate Health one year after completion of their program.
