One Day Medical Encounters (ODMEs) and Patient Simulation ODMEs take place in SIMS Medical Center: A nationally recognized virtual teaching hospital at Springfield Technical Community College.

Job Retention Data With Patient Simulation: 59 of 61 students (96. 7%) who went

Job Retention Data With Patient Simulation: 59 of 61 students (96. 7%) who went through the PCT program at STCC and participated in Patient Simulation were still employed at Baystate Health one year after the completion of the program. Without Patient Simulation: 7 of 61 (11. 4%) who did not have simulation as part of their educational program were still employed at Baystate Health one year after completion of their program. Reported by VP of talent acquisition at Baystate Health to Director of Clinical Education at STCC, 2011 CHW 12/17 PCT 13/14
