If you are unable to ask anyone why not do some research on someone famous. You will need to ask and find out the answer to some questions through an informal interview or over the phone. Then research some of the things you have discussed. Perhaps there’s a particular toy or tv programme your grandad liked? Then create a mind map of when they were younger using the imperfect tense in French. Questions you could ask: Where did you used to live? What did you used to dream of? What did you used to hate? What did you used to wear? What did you used to watch? What did you used to play?
