• Construct a schedule: include class locations and times • Place it somewhere obvious, separated from distractions • Include: meals, sports/fitness, bed time • Don’t forget “life necessities” • Commit it to memory • Follow it: you will be freed from stress and sickness • Leave leisure last

NUMBER 2 ON DEWEY’S LIST FOR SUCCESS • Join a sport or a club

• Excellent way to connect with others on campus • Meet others with the same interests • Form a network of dependable people and even lasting friendships • Support through your college education • Advantages in the classroom • Avoid stress

• Sports will bring balance to your life • Spending every moment studying = more stress • Not competitive? Intramurals are always an option • Building a network • The people you meet will be with you every day • Avoid being a lone wolf
