CIWP Planning Goals: • • Develop a set of 3 -5 key strategies that will maximally impact LVHS students over the next two years (and beyond). Engage a wide range of stakeholders including staff, students, and families in identifying action areas, setting goals, and developing strategies.
LVHS Vision & Current Work Vision Area Vision Statement Culture and Climate Lake View HS is a safe, supportive, and inclusive community of learners committed to academic and personal growth through ownership, restoration, and reflection. Improve Tier II and III SEL practices (including support for misconducts) Curriculum and assessment at Lake View promote deep STEM learning through mastery of standards-based, rigorous, authentic tasks. Increase rigor using Do. K and SAT Skills Insight; add AP/DC courses STEM Teaching and Learning at LVHS develop student ownership of 21 st Century Skills and Habits of Mind, including critical thinking and disciplinary literacy, to prepare students for college and careers. Support engagement with rigorous tasks using RA; Develop schoolwide STEM Identity Curriculum and Assessment STEM Teaching and Learning
