KS 1 ON TOUR Activity 1 : Go Launcher • Step on to the go launcher, launching the ball in to the air. Then you must try and catch the ball. • Your aim is to see how high you can launch the ball and then catch the ball. Health & Safety Tips • Ensure surface is flat, dry and clear from obstacles Equipment needed • • 6 go launchers 6 balls/ bean bags More of a • Usechallenge a smaller ball • Step on the launcher with your weak foot. Make it easier • Use a bigger ball

KS 1 ON TOUR Activity 2: Balance Beam • You must walk across the rope. • Your aim is to not fall off the rope • If you get to the end with out falling off you will get 3 points. • See how many points you can get in two minuets. Health & Safety Tips Equipment • needed 2 long ropes. • • Ensure surface is flat, dry and clear from obstacles You have sufficient space around the activity • More of a challenge Make the rope longer. Make it easier • Make the rope smaller.

KS 1 ON TOUR Activity 3: Assault Course • You must move through the assault course. Starting by jumping on the lily pads, then around the bend and on to the balance rope and finally through the hoops. • Your aim is to see how many times you can do this in two minuets. Health & Safety Tips Equipment needed • 1 long rope • • 6 floor mats 6 hoops • • Ensure surface is flat, dry and clear from obstacles You have sufficient space around the activity More of a challenge • Make the course longer. Make it easier • Make the course shorter.

KS 1 ON TOUR Activity 4: Ball Role Health & Safety Tips Equipment • needed 6 balls • • 3 Buckets 3 cones • • • Start by picking up the ball. You must then role the ball and try and get it in to the bucket. • Then you must go and collect your ball. • Your aim is to see how many times you can get the ball in the bucket in 2 minuets. Ensure surface is flat, dry and clear from obstacles You have sufficient space around the activity More of a challenge • Move the bucket closer to the cone. Make it easier • Move the bucket feather away from the cone.

KS 1 ON TOUR Activity 5: Clap Catch • Start by throwing the ball up in to the air. Whilst the ball is in the air you must see how many times you can clap before you catch the ball. • Your aim is to see how many times you can clap before you catch the ball.
