After all of their materials are away they will sit on the carpet. *Throughout the day the teacher will be listening for Jimmy to clearly verbalize 75 words as well as complete activities on his own while his Grandma and a trusted adult are nearby. 9: 00 -9: 20 Circle time Students will be sitting on the carpet. The teacher will lead the students in a welcome song and talk about the weather. 9: 30 -9: 40 Snack 9: 40 -10: 40 Centers The teacher will use this time to observe and collect data on the students. 10: 40 -11: 10 Small Group/Large Group (small group on Monday and Wednesday, large group Tuesday and Thursday) 11: 10 - 11: 30 Get ready to go home/Pick up The students will clean up and get their backpacks and all of their snow stuff and come sit on the carpet. The paras an teachers will pass out folders for the parents, students will put them in their backpacks. Students will wait by the carpet for their parents to pick them up.

Monday Continued 10: 40 -11: 10 Small Group During small group today we will split the class into two groups. There will be 7 students in each group. One group will focus on art. They will make a snowfall painting by using pencils. The other group will be working on literacy. The teacher/para at this station will have snowflakes with big black letters on them. They will hold up a snowflake and the students are going to guess what letter it is. The students will be at each station for fifteen minutes before switching to the other station. **While Jimmy is at the art station he will be working on his fine motor goal, Jimmy will use his pincer grasp to hold a pencil. **When Jimmy is at the literacy station the teacher/para will be looking to see Jimmy seeks out an adult and asks for assistance when needed (Social Emotional). 11: 10 - 11: 30 Get ready to go home/Pick up We will sing “I’m a little Snowman” to the tune of “I’m a Little Teapot. ” I’m a Little Snowman (Sung to: I’m a Little Teapot”) Submitted by Kelly I’m a little snowman short and fat. I'm really quick, I'm a gingerbread man!“ count down the numbers repeating the stanza above— No more gingerbread men lying on a tray, They all jumped up and ran away. She will also have plastic animal toys that will represent all the animals that fit in the mitten. The 8 animals will be given to eight students. As the animal is mentioned the students will put them in the mitten. (Animals include: a mule, a rabbit, a hedgehog, an owl, a badger, a fox, a bear and a mouse) 9: 30 -9: 40 Snack 9: 40 -10: 40 Centers ◦ Writing: Do A Dot Letters – ◦ Stamp out the letters of the students name using Bingo stampers. Thursday Continued 10: 40 -11: 10 Large Group ◦ Today we will be working on counting. We will be measuring ourselves with paper mittens. We will see how many mittens long we are. When we are done we will record the number to finish the sentence for our class book. Students will work together to measure their friends. We will sit in our circle and one student will lay on the floor while two friends put mittens by them. The rest of the class will be counting as each mitten is being placed by their friend. *This activity aligns with Jimmy’s Cognitive goal, Jimmy will be able to repeat back 5 numbers. As well as both of his fine motor goals, Jimmy will be able to make marks with a marker/pencil/ or crayon and use his pincer grasp to hold small objects. Jimmy will also be working in with his peers to complete this activity. 11: 10 - 11: 30 Get ready to go home/Pick up ◦ The students will clean up and get their backpacks and all of their snow stuff and come sit on the carpet. Put on your coat and zip it up tight, put on your left boot, put on your right. Put on your scarf and put on your hat, put on your mittens and clap! Go outside and play. Come in again, and then we'll say Take off your coat that was zipped up tight, take off your left boot, take off your right. Take off your scarf, take off your hat, take off your mittens, and then take a nap! Note: Students will act out which body part each object goes while it is being song.
