Elements • In order to provide enhanced security and supervision of our students, the district is implementing a transfer student supervision plan. • Each principal will designate a space outside their school and a space inside their school in which students waiting for magnet buses, M-to-M transfer buses, or other transportation will wait to be picked up. • If the building has a campus security officer (CSO), we will extend the hours of that campus security officer (CSO) to supervise transfer students in the morning and in the evening each school day. • If the school does not have a campus security officer, we will be hire part-time campus security personnel to supervise transfer students in the morning and in the evening each school day. We will call these people Transfer Point CSOs. 2

Process • Since the week of April 27, 2015, Mr. Travis Tow from our security operations department and Mr. Scott Gillies from our transportation department have been in the process of meeting with principals. These meetings will be complete by the end of May. In the meeting with the principals, the operations personnel: • Outline the scope of work for the campus security officer at the transfer locations. • Ask principals to identify transfer point locations inside and outside their schools. • Photograph these locations for inclusion in a master book. • Ask principals to designate an administrator who will be the point of contact for the Transfer Point CSO, to affirm whether the school will use the inside or outside STOP that day, and with whom the Transfer Point CSO will discuss issues. • Outline how the principal might communicate to school faculty, staff, and parents that the Transfer Points will be the pickup and drop off point for all Magnet, M-M, and other students awaiting arriving from or awaiting transportation. 3

Personnel (New Hires) • Four hours per day. – 6: 45 a. m. to
