Parent Portal – The Process � Defined 3 phases � Identified hosts for each site ◦ Butler, Grissom, Huntsville � Performed site surveys � Trained school operators on activation procedures � Conducted each phase

Rollout Process � Parents arrived on site � Parents received activated accounts from operators � Parents used lab for testing account ◦ Resolve any login issues there � Parents noted any data corrections with “change table” Principals and Parent Volunteers were all extremely helpful and key to a successful rollout

Parent Portal Issues � Duplicate guardian accounts ◦ Resolved many prior to rollout ◦ Resolved many changes during rollout � Two “Logins” required ◦ HCS IT will modify architecture during Christmas break � Reported to Vendor the following: ◦ Changing password sometimes caused error “not authorized to any school” ◦ Mobile application access seems to ignore display in home portal and shows more information than website
