Guidelines • Presentation must be scheduled with both GPSC (gpsc@fiu. edu) and Senate Speaker (contact SGA Office GC 211) • Presentation will take place during SGA Senate Meetings (weekly, Monday 4 pm) • Each student that received funding must present their own presentation • Presentations must last no longer than 5 minutes • Presentations must follow the outline in the following 3 slides • Presentation should be emailed to gpsc@fiu. edu by 2 pm the Monday of the presentation

Slide #1 • Who are you? (Name, program, degree type, year in program) • Was travel for Research or Professional Development? • Where, when, and why did you go?

Slide #2 • Photo (either of yourself at the site, or of something notable, please include description) • Itinerary : • For PD: what you witnessed, participated in, etc. • For Research: timeline of research acquisition

Slide #3 For Research funding ONLY For Professional Development ONLY • How did this experience add to your thesis/dissertation? • Summary of results to nonpractitioners • Summary of what you learned • How will you apply it to your studies/professional life?
