Graduate School of International Studies Master’s Degree Program provided by Graduate School of International Studies • Ajou GSIS (Graduate School of International Studies) was established in 1996 in cooperation with Daewoo Group to educate business people and government officials of Romania. It was started with approximately 60 Students from Romania • Later the GSIS was developed to educate more diverse student population from many different countries including Eastern European Countries, Asian, African and Middle Eastern Countries.

Mission To educate the future leaders in government, business and civic organizations who can effectively meet the challenges of the globalizing world To secure a pool of future international experts needed by the developing countries with a view to providing them with a meaningful role and encouraging their active participation in international field To develop students' capacity and contribute to the international progress of the participating studies. • Provides Master Degree Program for International Students from more than 40 different countries around the world • Short-Term Programs for government officials and Business people are also provided

Ajou has been educating government officials from developing countries in cooperation with KOICA since 2002 until now. NIIED: National Institute of International Education Development promotes and give grants to international students who come to study at Korean Universities KF: Korea Foundation provides scholarship with international students majoring in Korean Studies
