Introduction : v Energy conservation means saving of nonrenewable energy resources. v Development of science which is destroy natural resources, it is not a science but dark future of our next generation. v Energy conservation is efficiently reducing the amount of power required to carry out operations. v Energy conservation can improve financial capital, environmental value, national security, personal security, and human comfort. v We are able to produce a large amount of energy then we not required to conservation of energy. v So, For conserve a nonrenewable energy sources we try to maximum use of a renewable energy sources like tidal energy, Solar energy, Hydraulic energy etc.

q Save 5 nonrenewable energy resources. v First of all, conserve energy to save

q Save 5 nonrenewable energy resources. v First of all, conserve energy to save a 5 energy sources. [1] Coal [2] Petroleum [3] Natural gas [4] Nuclear power [5] Timber [1] Coal : Coal was formed from the buried remains of plants and animals over a period of millions of years. Coal contributes significantly to the energy consumption in the world. We are dependent on coal for electricity production, heating and cooking, and transportation.

[2] Petroleum : Another precious non-renewable energy resource is crude oil or liquid petroleum.

[2] Petroleum : Another precious non-renewable energy resource is crude oil or liquid petroleum. The carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, . These greenhouse gases pollute the air and contribute to global warming. [3] Natural gas : Natural gas is also found in the same places as petroleum. In fact, it is the residue of oil. At present, the natural gas reserves stand at about 100 million metric tons which is uses up to next 100 years. [4] Nuclear power : All the functioning and commercially nuclear reactors use uranium as the raw material. Nuclear waste is a serious health hazard and nuclear leakage can pose serious health problems.

[5] Timber : Wood or timber is one of the oldest forms of energy

[5] Timber : Wood or timber is one of the oldest forms of energy resources. A few of us think that wood is a renewable energy resource, as we can plant as many trees as we want. However, in many parts of the world trees are fast depleting in number.

q. Sources of Energy conservation : v There many source are available but mainly

q. Sources of Energy conservation : v There many source are available but mainly five sources are used for produce energy from renewable energy sources. [1] Solar energy [2] Tidal energy [3] Geo thermal energy [4] wind energy [5] Hydraulic energy

q Solar energy : v Solar power uses the sun's energy and light to

q Solar energy : v Solar power uses the sun's energy and light to provide heat, light, and electricity for homes. v Solar power is the conversion of sunlight into electricity, either directly using photo voltaic (PV), or indirectly using concentr -ated solar power (CSP). v It is one such energy which helps in maintaining the ecological balance through the process of photosynthesis and green house effect. v Concentrated solar power systems use lensesor mirrors and tracking systems to focus a large area of sunlight into a small beam. Photovoltaic converts light into electric current using the photoelectric effect.

q. Tidal energy : v Tidal power is a means of electricity generation achieved

q. Tidal energy : v Tidal power is a means of electricity generation achieved by capturing the energy contained in moving water mass due to tides. v Tidal forces produced by the Moon and Sun, in combination with Earth's rotation, are responsible for the generation of the tides. v The energy of tidal waves can be converted to electricity by making dams and barrages. The energy from the tidal wave is stored by installing a tidal generator. v The largest power plant is the La Rance station in France which generates a whopping 240 megawatts (MW)of power.

q Geo Thermal Energy : v Geothermal power is energy from within the Earth.

q Geo Thermal Energy : v Geothermal power is energy from within the Earth. As you probably know, the Earth's core is very hot, and consistently melt rock and heats water. v You can dig deep wells and pump the hot water or steam out of it, then you can use this heat for run the turbine and generate a electicity. v Geothermal energy has the major environment benefit as it prevents air pollution. so, Geothermal energy is a ecofriendly power generation. v Energy generation from geothermal sources is only possible in few places under unique geographic conditions. v It was first used to produce electricity in the Itlay in 1903.

q Hydraulic energy : v Water power is the energy from moving water. Dams

q Hydraulic energy : v Water power is the energy from moving water. Dams are a great example of energy from water, the running water powers them. v The movement of water spins the turbines which in turn generate electricity. Running water constantly flows out to the ocean, where it evaporates and returns to land. v This makes it renewable, because the water cycle will always continue to supply our streams and rivers with water.

q water fueled car : v This experimental car shown in figure is worked

q water fueled car : v This experimental car shown in figure is worked by using water as a fuel. In Which separate the hydrogen from water. v Its exhaust gases cause no pollution, because they contain only water vapour. v So , We hope that, this car is a batter than petrol&Diesal car in future.

v PPM is a device that works continuously without any continuous input. Perpetual machine

v PPM is a device that works continuously without any continuous input. Perpetual machine v It is a dream of ‘FREE ENERGY’. The idea is that this machine never run down and even can do work. v This machine refers to a device that runs and produces greater amount of energy continuously. v. So, definitely we say that the Perpetual Motion Machine is a dream of free energy devices in future generation without polution.
