Origin of Project v v The youth has been like the sponge absorbed water and continuously received the message or information out of media, school and peers since the home life step by step closer to the school life, which usually produced the huge idea and the behavior changed in a short period of time. At the time like this, if parents didn't understand the variety of mind and body of young thoroughly, while didn't have the quality communication, conversation, listen and accept, "generation gap" will then take shape gradually. Some parents will try to adopt a way of vehemence, spoiling or negative to solve the problems. The relation within family became tension, finally turned uneasy, additionally, caused the youth to develop the deviation behavior gradually, yet committed offence. We hope to start this program with young’s original family at first, by promoting the Educational Program for family-Duty to strengthen parent’s understanding toward the young’s culture, and raise the technique for communication of parent and youth, also hoping through the participation by the parents and youth, can trigger them to look for the motivation to improve the parenthood, and before they leaving Detention Center will able to smooth the parenthood and unfastened the knot that they both tried it so hard.

Through the promotion of educational curriculum for family-duty that make the juvenile and parents to understand the meaning and importance of the family-duty education, then improving the interaction of between parent and children, fostering an intimate relation and quelling an opposition. 2. Making the parent and juvenile know the usage of manage the sympathy and audibility technique by teaching of curriculums, to remove the obstacle of each other’s communication and realized problems took place, and then trigger the positive interaction of young with parents. 3. By the profession of recognized and assisted of volunteer and appropriative usage of social resource, to improve the parenthood, reduce youth repeat offence and social cost. Thus, we, actively, promote this educational program for family-duty in favor of youth return home more smoothly.

Family-Duty Education Content v v Education for family-duty is an education for parent as well as for children. Hoping through our curriculum will teach parent and children how to play a proper role in parentage, including: recognition of role play, attitude of education, enlightenment of concept etc. In order to raise parent’s recognition of growth of their children, adaptation and development of body and mind related awareness, while strengthen the skill and ability that parent train and communicate with their children efficiently. Leading parent to a proper way of train their children, including, parentage, communication of parentage, sex education etc, and helping parent guiding their children to be a better behavior person, in addition assisting youth with deviant behavior to overcome their culture difficulty, and providing a better environment to understand related knowledge, skill and laws and regulations of home management(the arrangement of family living, build up atmosphere for family).

Family-Duty Education Curriculum for Parent v v Getting along of parenthood often due to in excess of connivance or toleration and spoiling that cause the youth run away, then violated the law. The issue of teach children properly that gave the parent a very bad headache. In addition, the interactive process between parent and children, usually, because of misunderstand the cultural characteristic, way of thinking, attitude and requirement to listen and sympathize the feeling of their children which clogged the communication. 「Respect but not Connivance」is a way of teach that parent should adopted. Parent through the curriculums and practices, should also be able to check their way of teach and communicate with children, while finding a way to sympathize thinking model of children and the key for communication. Hoping through the teaching of curriculum of parenthood and the practice of role play, that parents could know how to solve the parenthood’s obstruction, strengthen the communication, voiding the parenthood drifting apart and getting tense. Instructor Yi-Fe Shi will answer all the questions and leading parents to practice the role they had been played, while letting parents feeling children’s incenter world personally and express their opinion.

Family-Duty Education Curriculum for Juvenile v The progression of family-duty education should start with parents and children both at same time, therefore, we also provide the curriculum for Juvenile inmates. The main content of curriculum is for research of facing and handling the conflict when juvenile getting along with parents. v When juvenile facing parent’s teaching in their adolescence, the conflict often attended, consequently, ruining the parenthood, mislead the behavior of youth. In order to clam down and consider the effort of parents and learning how to sympathize the ideal and way of teaching from parents, the method of this curriculum adopted are relaxing and interesting, which juvenile will play on stage about how they conflicted with parent, then discuss how to handle such conditions as well as solve the problems.

Parentage、Family-Duty Education Curriculum v v Hoping through the arrangement and implement of curriculum education for parenthood and dependent-duty, the parent and youth can learn how to get along with each other. We also scheduled parent and youth in same class. In the processes of curriculums, we provided more opportunities for parent and youth to get along and conducted their relation ship even more intimated, by encouraged youth not only showing no shy in the actions, but to hug and hands tied tightly.

Assessment and Recommendation of Achievements v To understand more about the implement and achievements of dependent-duty education, we adopted a questionnaire of parenthood an interview with individual case of parent and youth regarding dependent-duty. By the survey as mentioned above, we will gain more understanding of what was the difficulties when parent and youth got along, and try to find out the dependent-duty education has any effect for parenthood, in order to evaluate the implementation for future reference.
