DMC TL App. Powered by Sym. Bios 2 Introduction Project Information The launch of the Trade Licence application is the 2 nd phase of DMC’s Data Digitization project. Phase I During the first phase: A. All the Trade Licence written records were digitized. The digitized data was made available for DMC separately B. Parallelly, the website of DMC was upgraded during the same time and the new website was officially launched on 21 st September 2017. The website, www. dmc. nagaland. gov. in is hosted at the state IT center and DMC has entrusted Sym. Bios to maintain and manage the content of the same.

Bios 3 Introduction Phase II The Trade Licence Application ü This application is an exclusive web application for the traders and applicants for Trade Licence under DMC jurisdiction. ü Since the application will handle sensitive data like payment data, It is running under a secure encrypted connection protocol (https). ü The application is hosted on a different server and a different domain name which will soon be revealed by our honorable chief guest.

DMC TL App. Powered by Sym. Bios 6 Features 1. Pay Trade Licence Fees ü Existing traders need not visit the DMC office anymore to pay their renewal fees. They can use this application to pay from the comfort of their homes or workplace. ü He or she can currently view his pending renewal fees for the year 2018 and pay them by simply entering his trade Licence number and ward. ü The payment can be done with or without registering as a user on the web application.

Payment Gateway DMC TL App. Powered by Sym. Bios v The payment gateway used for the application is eazypay, provided by ICICI Bank. v All major forms of online payment modes are accepted including netbanking of all major banks, all standard debit and credit cards of any bank.

Pay Trade Licence Fees ü On successful online payment, the trader will be able to save a copy of the online receipt. ü He will also receive a notification SMS and email of the same. ü Option to pay the Trade Licence fees for the next year 2019 will be made available soon.

DMC TL App. Powered by Sym. Bios Existing Trader Registration v An existing trader under DMC can register in the web application as a user by providing his basic information available in the issued Trade Licence.

Existing Trader Registration & Login ü While registering, Validation of mobile number is required, after-which he will be able to login to his portal. ü They can then login to see their digitized information under this project. ü Currently the traders will be able to view their basic information and current year payment information. ü The application will be upgraded to further provide different features to the traders as per their needs and response to the application.

Apply for New Trade Licence ü Since the process is a lengthy, the applicant has the option to login and continue with the filling and uploading documents anytime section by section. ü The completion of the process is further subject to documents verification by the DMC. ü This process is not fully automated and will currently involve new applicants visiting the office. ü Sym. Bios will continue to collaborate with DMC to upgrade the application to fully automate the new application process.
