Dew Point temperature when dew forms: the temperature at which the air cannot hold all the moisture in it and dew begins to form. If objects and surfaces have cooled to below freezing point when the moisture in the air begins to condense, frost is formed instead. The dew point temperature is the temperature to which the air must be cooled before dew or frost begins to form.
