Whether you are a new undergraduate student in TESL, Hearing Sciences, or Speech and Language Sciences, entering one of our three Certificate programs, or are beginning your graduate studies in our MA Applied Linguistics/TESL program, you can be confident that you are embarking on a rewarding year of study. In the Classroom • Important Notes about Classes: • All of our Applied Linguistics courses are occurring online this fall. • If your course is designated SYNC you are expected to be present online via Teams at the times designated in the timetable for your course. • If your course is designated ASYNC your instructor will post materials, deadlines, and instructions on Sakai. You will watch prerecorded materials at times of your choosing and may participate in online discussion forums and other asynchronous interactive activities. • Check the Sakai site for each of your courses in advance of your first class. Your instructor will post important information, including the course outline, and key dates here.
