Year 5 English ‘Setting Description’ This week, your English learning is going to be

Year 5 English ‘Setting Description’ This week, your English learning is going to be very similar to the Maths ‘live’ lessons you have been using online. Each lesson includes: an initial quiz, a video explaining your learning, an activity and then a quiz at the end of the lesson to check your understanding. The lessons should be easy to follow and the online teachers mark your answers with you. However, it would be great to read some of your final setting descriptions. Once you have completed these, please send them across to your class email or upload them on ‘Teams’ to share your amazing effort!

Helpful Hints If you still have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask any of your teachers using the class email address or ‘Microsoft Teams. ’ �Click on the relevant lessons from the Power. Point slides. �Click ‘Start lesson’. This will then take you to a quiz, complete the quiz. Once you have completed this initial assessment, click ‘Close quiz. ’ �Then click ‘Next Activity’ at the bottom right of the screen. This will take you to your lesson. Play and pause the lesson as you wish. If you need to come out of the lesson video, just click ‘Close video’ and you can ‘Resume video’ at any time. �To complete the activity, ‘Close video’ and go to ‘Next Activity’ to find an activity to complete. These independent activities can be completed in your workbook.
