Here are some hints for developing a catchy title: � � � Consider the main subject of the paper. In this case, it is the influences from friends. What are some main words associated with this essay? Influences + Friends + Character, right?

Synonyms… � Let’s brainstorm a few synonyms for these words: � Influences: � Friends: � Character (feel free to give character traits):

Examples: � � Influences = force, pressure Friend = peer, pal, buddy Character = actions, various character traits (integrity, compassion, trustworthiness, etc. ) Can any of the synonyms be used in a title?
