BIRTH PLACE, D. O. B & DEATH � My inventors name is Dennis W. Weatherby. � Dennis w. Weatherby was born on December. 4 th, 1959 and died on September. 15 th, 2007. He was also born in Brighton, Alabama.
EARLY LIFE OF DENNIS � Dr. Weatherby was the son of Willie and Flosse Mae Weatherby. He attended Midfield High school and then later on he went to go attend Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio. Dennis was able to graduate with a bachelors degree in chemistry in 1982. He then moved on the University of Dayton and completed his masters degree in chemical engineering in 1984. Then Weatherby began working for the Procter and Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio as a process engineer.
MOST IMPORTANT IVNENTION & WHY? � Dennis Weatherby’s most important invention was the dishwasher detergent which is known as Cascade. Dennis wanted to invent the detergent because he was given the chance to lead a team to do so. He also wanted a color and bleach that wouldn’t stain dishes. Dennis basically wanted to invent this dishwashing detergent s that washing dishes would become easier and less of a headache >. <
WHEN & WHERE ? � The dishwashing detergent was invented in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dennis was about 27 years old when he started working and finished this detergent. Dennis invented the detergent in the year of December. 22 nd , 1968. the patent was file don December. 22 nd, 1987.
PURPOSE OF INVENTION. . . � The dishwasher detergent was invented to clean dishes sin the automatic dishwasher. It is also a type of washing detergent that wont stain the dishes. Dennis aimed for that, specifically because there were numerous amounts of complaints saying “the old detergent stains their dishes”. This invention is used for house hold cleaning and to get rid of those tough stains on dishes and even make sure your dishes are cleaned the right
IMPORTANCE OF THIS INVENTION. . . � Dennis’s invention was important because he helped come up with and make the lemon formula. It was also important because it was a superior cleaning formula. It contained an aqueous bleach solution.
CHANGE FOR BETTER OR WORSE. . . � Dennis’s invention changed for the better. His invention led to other house hold cleaning products and dishwashing materials. Weatherby’s invention sparked up other inventions such as Ivory Soap, Life Bouy, Liquid Soap, Palmolive Soap, Pine-Sol, SOS Pads and Tide.
TECHNOLOGIES THAT USE THE “DETERGENT” �A technology that is compatible with the dishwasher detergent would be a dishwasher.
