Define Message classes v SAIG uses message classes which are file types to send and receive data between DOE and your institution. v Message classes files are usually named in the following format syntax: <msg_class><year>op ex. OP). v Step 3: Archives copy of these files in specified archive directory before they are processed. v Step 4: Removes the header and trailer from the file before file is imported in Banner. v Step 5: Runs Banner job RERIMXX runs to import the file from data load folder. v Step 6: Process flow runs itself again until all files are processed. 117
