The education system: Education is compulsory from age 6 to 15 It consists of elementary school which is divided into two parts: the first grade (age 6– 10) the second grade (age 10– 15) which is finished by taking testing called Monitor, from Slovak language and Maths After that students are obliged to take one year in high school After finishing a high school, students can go to university The lesson at our school starts at 8 o´clock and it finishes at 1: 30 p. m. Lunch break is from 11. 30 – 12. 00 and after the end of the lesson
