Timings • Children to arrive at school as normal -the coach leaves at 10

Timings • Children to arrive at school as normal -the coach leaves at 10 am. Return coach leaves the site at 1 pm the Friday, so will be around 3. 30 pm (depending on traffic!) • Children need to be able to carry their own bags! No bedding etc. is needed as all provided, but can all bring 1 ‘comfort’ (e. g. soft toy) • They will all need a packed lunch for day 1 – and a named/labelled water bottle is really important • No electronics are needed – no phones, i-pods, tablets etc. • The Academy will send a text out to let you know the children have arrived, and the teachers will update class dojo each day…. make sure you’re signed up!

Clothing • You have all been given a kit-list………. emphasise: • Appropriate footwear (activities all involve outdoor pursuits). Ideally more than 1 pair in case of poor weather; • Don’t buy new/expensive – it will all come home dirty, items will go missing etc! Jogging bottoms, long-sleeved tees for certain activities; • With the exception of watches / studs please no jewellery (they take off for activities so easier to leave at home!); • Waterproof jacket/coat; • Hat/cap & suncream; • Appropriate sleepwear; • Towel / wash stuff / toothpaste / sun-cream • Pocket-money (No more than £ 10) • Plastic bag / bin bag for dirty clothes!

Staffing • ALL staff on site have relevant first-aid training, DBS checks etc. and if working on specialist activities have the appropriate training, (e. g. climbing / rope activities); • We will have one member of In 2 Action assigned to our school for the week; • All activities have at least 2 members of staff assigned to each group activity as well as our staff; • Extra staff are around in the evening supervising the schools at night-time; • School staff: Mrs Ashley, Mrs Mac. Leod, Mrs Powell (Mon. Wed), Mr Nocera (Wed-Fri), Mrs Flannigan (Wed);

Accommodation • Children will sleep in rooms of 4 -6 in single-sex rooms; we

Accommodation • Children will sleep in rooms of 4 -6 in single-sex rooms; we will be organising the rooms, but will try to ensure each child gets at least one friend with them; • All rooms have beds and wardrobes, but no TV’s. All rooms are en-suite. • Denham Green are all together in the same block of rooms, with no other schools; • All accommodation is secure; all doors to room lock from the inside, and Mrs Ashley will have a master key for emergencies; • As well as this, doors to accommodation blocks are keypad-locked; • The site has 24 -hour security; • In 2 Action staff are assigned to blocks of accommodation and stay on duty until around 10. 30 pm; • There is a duty manager on call until 11 pm; • Denham Green staff are in rooms in the same block as the children are available 24 -hours a day.

Behaviour & Expectations • We have the same expectations for the trip as we have in School; • Inappropriate behaviour will be dealt with as we would in school – however if the issue is around safety, then a child may be removed from an activity, or from a particular bedroom; • Absolute worst-case scenario would be a child being sent home from the trip if continuously putting themselves or other in danger

Activities • The children will be split into 2 activity groups of 12, each with 1 member of Denham Green staff attached, as well as leaders from In 2 Action for each activity; • Daytime: Body Zorbs, Water Rollers, Crate Challenge, Aeroball, Fencing, Den Building, Sensory Adventure, Escape Grittleton, Water Wars, Archery, Karting, Climbing Wall, Low Ropes, Archery Adventure; • Evening: Night Hike, Camp Fire, Beat the Elite, Disco
