A Swedish support structure for integrating horizontal principles in the ESF • The Swedish ESF-council procured a support structure for horizontal principles - ESI support • To support the integration of horizontal principles, gender, accessibility and discrimination in the ESF processes, thematics and projects • Ecological sustainability included to some extent

Why a support structure? • CPR article 7 & 8 – ”member states shall”… • Evaluations has shown the need for a systematic approach in order to succeed in integrating horizontal perspectives • The gender Standard produced by TLN Gender Co. P

Support to the ESF-council: • • Thematic analysis – highlighting the role of the horisontal principles Mapping of the situation of discrimination in Swedish working life Calls for projects – the role of the horisontal principles ESF processes – how to ”do” horisontal principles
