Welcome JOURNALISM 1, 2 AND 3 CRITICAL THINKING

About me Hello everyone I am Alicia Orta, I just moved here from Seattle Washington. This is my first-year teaching Journalism and Critical thinking My teaching Background is in Social studies. I am certified in English/Language art. I am certified to teach in the following states Georgia, Washington State and Florida I have master degree in public administration.

Journalism 2 /3 This class we are going to learn about broadcasting, and media Journalism. Hopefully soon we wil be recording the school's announcement. Currently we are learning about the First Amendment and how it protects journalist. We are also reasonable for creating the yearbook which will be extremely fun. Critical Thinking Currently in this class we have been talking about stress and how we can relive it. Soon we will be starting to read the book 7 habits of highly effective teens by Sean Covey. We will go deep into this book and analyze the seven habits and how we can implement them in our lives. We will have hard copies in the classroom and electronic version on Teams. Journalism 1 This class we will be focusing one the basic of journalism. This class we have been currently learning about the first amendment and how it is extremely important to Jouralist. Journalism is the only profession that is protected by the first Amendment. Hopefully once we get done with the Law and Ethics od Journalism, we will get into fun activities likes Music and movies reviews. If you have any questions, please ask them.
