4. 2013 URI Coastal Fellowship summer stipends will be paid for 14 weeks from May 20 – August 23, 2013. Coastal fellows are paid at a rate of $9. 50/hour and work 20 -40 hours per week. A student who works 20 hours per week for the full 14 weeks will work a total of 280 hours and earn $2, 660. 00 salary and a FICA benefit of $203. 49 (salary x 0. 0765). Non-URI mentors may wish to make other payroll arrangements.
