The UConn Installment Payment Plan The University of Connecticut is pleased to offer an optional payment plan that lets you spread each semester’s charges into four monthly payments. Best of all, your payment plan is set up quickly and easily on a self-service basis directly in your People. Soft student account. The plan is interest-free, however, there is an enrollment fee of $45 per semester, and it is necessary to re-enroll in the plan each semester. “It was so much easier for me to make installment payments for the fee bill, instead of paying it all at once. Having it automatically deducted from my account made it so nice!” - Authorized User For interested families, enrollment begins around June 25 th for the Fall semester, and November 25 th for Spring semester. How to Enroll: 1) Log-in to your People. Soft Student Account. Navigate to SA Self-Service > Student Center > Finances > Pay Bill, Authorize Users, Manage Payment Plan 2) Log-in to the payment plan using your student ID and password 3) Give access to an Authorized User (parent, spouse, etc. ) or enroll yourself in a plan. More Details: • Installments are due on July, August, September and October 15 th for the Fall payment plan, and December, January, February and March 15 th for Spring. • Enrollment is open until Day 10 of classes, however, any missed installments are due at time of enrollment. • Payment plan budgets are tied directly to the university fee bill so charges and credits are automatically calculated into the installments • Choose to sign up for Scheduled Payments – this option lets you schedule your installments to be automatically deducted from your account each month. • Authorized users can enroll in the payment plan on behalf of their students and will receive e-mail notifications concerning changes to installments.
