(aiōnios of Zoe) describes quality of the age � 1 John 5 (11 -12) 11 and the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal (aiōnios) life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who has the Son has the life; (Zoe) he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life (Zoe). � 1 Cor 15(45) so also it is written, “The first MAN, Adam, BECAME A LIVING SOUL. ” The last Adam became a life-giving (zō-o-poi-e'-ō) spirit. � II Tim 1(10) but it now has been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life (ZOE) and immortality (Aftharsea) to light through the gospel. � Immortality (ä-fthär-sē'-ä)= perpetual incorruption the state of continuing forever.
