4 th Century B. C. • Celts= Blond Warriors • Celts was a group called Brythons (or Britons), who left their permanent stamp in one of the names (Britain) eventually adopted by the land. • They were the first British settlers.

Ø Religion § The religion was Animism (Spirits). § Ex: Trees, Rivers, Thunder, Ponds § Druids- Middle Man between Gods and people. § Celts believed spirits controlled all aspects of life.
