Outcome Goal and Targets Collaboration between FNM and non-FNM partners will result in significant improvement in FNM student engagement and will increase three-year graduation rates from 35% in June 2012 to at least 65% in June 2020. • Achieve an annual increase of 4 percentage points in the FNM three-year graduation rate. • By 2018, school divisions will achieve parity between FNM students and non-FNM students on the Our. SCHOOL engagement measures.

Key Actions/Activities • • Continued to implement, build capacity and scale-up the Following Their Voices initiative Administrator professional development presentation to PLT for their consideration; awaiting approval Established process for regular (but not frequent) conversations with FSIN Directors of Education group Promoted province-wide implementation of HMTMS (when used well it is an engagement tool with strong assessment properties) Hosted Partnership Symposia to celebrate and share successful partnership strategies Developed targeted PD for school-based administrators (initial cohort starts Sept 2017) Created a policy framework document for the ethical and efficient exchange of information between school systems Developed a rubric for school and school system self assessment of success in transitions for First Nation, Metis and Inuit students Established targeted actions in each of the other ESSP outcomes 6
