The Story of the “Wendy Word Family Adventure!” Wendy just arrived from Mexico. She is learning how to speak and read in English. She needs your help with words that have the same ending. Game Preparation -ot Word Family -ight Word Family -est Word Family -eat Word Family -ake Word Family -ail Word Family This game can be played by 2 to 4 players. Each player in my class will roll the dice, choose a card, and say the word on the card. Player 1 rolls the dice and gets two dots. He pulls a card from the-ot word family stack and replies, “Hot!” Since the word is correct, he is able to advance on the board. He has the option of taking another turn or passing his turn to the next player. The winner who reaches the end of the game first is the winner. Home Page
