Attendance ■ Attendance to all tryouts and practices are mandatory to maintain your spot on the team. ■ We do realize that summer vacation for students ends on September 3 rd but vacation for a South River student-athlete ends on August 10 th. ■ Practices for all sports run Monday-Saturday throughout the entire season. ■ A student-athlete missing a South River event for a club practice or event without prior coach and principal approval will be removed from the team. ■ Always better to tell the truth about absences. Possible team forfeit and removal from team can result from lack of transparency.

Academics ■ Primary focus of your South River High School Experience ■ 2017 -18 Student-Athlete GPA average was 3. 78 ■ All freshman athletes start their career eligible ■ 2. 0 with no more than 1 E is the eligibility requirement for AACPS (Shouldn’t be yours) ■ Study hall procedure for athletes

Booster Club ■ We ask that all families join the booster club at the start of the 2018 -19 school year. ■ Registration can be done online with your athletic registration. ■ Booster Club contributes to the 3 year uniform rotation as well as major projects that need to be completed around campus. (Scoreboards, Press Box, Sound System, etc) ■ Next Booster Meeting is June 14, 2018 at 6 pm in the Cafeteria
