Daily Routine: Then it is one of the student’s turn to be magistra/magister (volunteer basis). They ask their classmates about: the weather in Latin. QUAENAM EST TEMPESTAS HODIE?

Daily Routine: We also practice the days of the week: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow. Heri erat dies _____ Hodie est dies _____ Cras erit dies _____

Daily Routine: Then we go over the Agenda and our Objective for the lesson. Agenda I. Practice Verbs II. Brain Break III. Fabula Objective I can: identify new Latin Verbs.

Tips for succeeding in Latin • Maintain good study habits. • Work Effort - homework is graded based on effort and completion. • Consistency! Develop a study routine/schedule. • Seek extra help if applicable.

Grading and Expectations • Quizzes, Tests, Projects: **Please visit my homework website!** • Grades: viewable via Powerschool Portal (not final until the end of the quarter, late work is still accepted for partial credit) • Google Classroom - homework, assignments, announcements posted. • Student Responsibility/Ownership - I expect students to come see me if they are absent or if they missed work. • Extra help can be scheduled, if needed

~IMPORTANT~ When learning a language, you must USE it everyday. When you use it, you learn it and remember it. When you don’t use it, you will have a hard time learning and remembering it. OUTSIDE OF LATIN CLASS, look at/review/study at least 5 MINUTES EVERYDAY! (even if it is not assigned as homework)
