ST. MARINA THE ASCEITC’S GLORIFICATION Hail to the strong, and chaste saint, who’s magnified by the Church, Marina the Ascetic. Her father departed to heaven, after a prayerful struggle, he meditated on godliness, Marina the Ascetic. ﺳﺎﻓﺮ ﺃﺒﻮﻫﺎ ﻟﻠﺴﻤﻮﺍﺕ ﺑﻌﺪ ﺟﻬﺎﺩ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﺼﻠﻮﺍﺕ ﻭﺗﺄﻤﻞ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻹﻟﻬﻴﺎﺕ ﻣﺎﺭﻳﻨﺎ ﺍﻟﻨﺎﺳﻜﺔ She increased her prayers, her fasting and her meekness, and was steadfast in her will, Marina the Ascetic. ﺯﺍﺩﺕ ﻓﻲ ﺻﻠﻮﺍﺗﻬﺎ ﻭﺃﺼﻮﺍﻣﻬﺎ ﻭﺗﻮﺍﺿﻌﻬﺎ ﺛﺎﺑﺘﺔ ﻓﻲ ﺇﺭﺍﺩﺗﻬﺎ ﻣﺎﺭﻳﻨﺎ ﺍﻟﻨﺎﺳﻜﺔ Satan did envy her, and planned a trap for her, someone then abused her, Marina the Ascetic. ﺣﺴﺪﻫﺎ ﺍﻟﺸﻴﻄﺎﻥ ﺩ ﺭ ﻣﻜﻴﺪﺓ ﺑﺈﻣﻜﺎﻥ ﻭﺃﻔﺘﺮﻯ ﻋﻠﻴﻬﺎ ﺇﻧﺴﺎﻥ ﻣﺎﺭﻳﻨﺎ ﺍﻟﻨﺎﺳﻜﺔ © ST. They imposed on her rules, and she struggled for many years, always in her firm patience, Marina the Ascetic. ﻭﺿﻌﻮﺍ ﻋﻠﻴﻬﺎ ﻗﻮﺍﻧﻴﻦ ﺟﺎﻫﺪﺕ ﺟﻤﻠﺔ ﺳﻨﻴﻦ ﻓﻲ ﺟﻬﺎﺩ ﻭﺻﺒﺮ ﻣﺘﻴﻦ ﻣﺎﺭﻳﻨﺎ ﺍﻟﻨﺎﺳﻜﺔ Her secret remained concealed, while everyone was blaming her, and her child thought every day, Marina the Ascetic. ﻇﻞ ﺍﻟﺴ ﻣﻜﺘﻮﻡ ﻭﺍﻟﻜﻞ ﻳﻨﻈﺮ ﻭﻳﻠﻮﻡ ﻭﺍﻟﻐﻼﻡ ﻳﻔﻜﺮ ﻛﻞ ﻳﻮﻡ ﻣﺎﺭﻳﻨﺎ ﺍﻟﻨﺎﺳﻜﺔ The time and hour then came, for the chosen’s departure, she lived an all-chaste life, Marina the Ascetic. ﺟﺎﺀ ﺍﻟﻮﻗﺖ ﻭﺍﻟﺴﺎﻋﺔ ﻟﺮﺣﻴﻞ ﺍﻟﻤﺨﺘﺎﺭﺓ ﻋﺎﺷﺖ ﺑﻜﻞ ﻃﻬﺎﺭﺓ ﻣﺎﺭﻳﻨﺎ ﺍﻟﻨﺎﺳﻜﺔ © ST. She bade her boy farewell, and blessed him with her prayers, and delivered him to our God, Marina the Ascetic. ﻭ ﻋﺖ ﻏﻼﻣﻬﺎ ﻭﺑﺎﺭﻛﺘﻪ ﺑﺼﻠﻮﺍﺗﻬﺎ ﻭﺳﻣﺘﻪ ﻹﻟﻬﻨﺎ ﻣﺎﺭﻳﻨﺎ ﺍﻟﻨﺎﺳﻜﺔ All the bells did chime, and all the people gathered, all their doubts were removed, Marina the Ascetic. ﺩﻗﺖ ﺍﻷﺠﺮﺍﺱ ﻭﺍﺟﺘﻤﻊ ﻛﻞ ﺍﻟﻨﺎﺱ ﻭﺫﻫﺐ ﻋﻨﻬﻢ ﺍﻟﻮﺳﻮﺍﺱ ﻣﺎﺭﻳﻨﺎ ﺍﻟﻨﺎﺳﻜﺔ There was a sweet aroma, and everyone cried in tears, “Have mercy upon us O God!” Marina the Ascetic. ﻓﺎﺿﺖ ﺭﻳﺤﺔ ﻃﻴﺐ ﻭﺻﺮﺥ ﺍﻟﻜﻞ ﻓﻲ ﻧﺤﻴﺐ ﺇﺭﺣﻤﻨﺎ ﻳﺎ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻳﺎ ﻣﺠﻴﺐ ﻣﺎﺭﻳﻨﺎ ﺍﻟﻨﺎﺳﻜﺔ © ST. Her virtues then appeared, and Satan perceived her light, while everyone was magnifying her, Marina the Ascetic. The accursed Satan was defeated, in his snares and transgressions, her body was brought there, Marina the Ascetic. The guilty confessed their crime, and their plot was exposed, and everyone was appalled, Marina the Ascetic. ﻇﻬﺮﺕ ﻓﻀﺎﺋﻠﻬﺎ ﻭﺍﻟﻀﺮﻳﺮ ﺃﺒﺼﺮ ﻧﻮﺭﻫﺎ ﻭﺍﻟﻜﻞ ﻳﻄﻮﺑﻬﺎ ﻣﺎﺭﻳﻨﺎ ﺍﻟﻨﺎﺳﻜﺔ ﺻﺮﻉ ﺍﻟﺸﻴﻄﺎﻥ ﺍﻟﻠﻌﻴﻦ ﺍﻟﺨﺎﻃﻴﺔ ﻭﺍﻷﺜﻴﻢ ﺣﻀﺮﻭﺍ ﻟﺠﺴﺪﻫﺎ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻟﺤﻴﻦ ﻣﺎﺭﻳﻨﺎ ﺍﻟﻨﺎﺳﻜﺔ ﺍﻋﺘﺮﻓﻮﺍ ﺑﺠﺮﻳﻤﺘﻬﻢ ﻭﺍﻧﻔﻀﺤﺖ ﻣﺆﺎﻣﺮﺗﻬﻢ ﻭﺍﻟﻜﻞ ﻓﻲ ﺫﻫﻮﻟﻬﻢ ﻣﺎﺭﻳﻨﺎ ﺍﻟﻨﺎﺳﻜﺔ © ST.
