John sees the celestial earth! So did Joseph Smith (Doctrine & Covenants 137: 1 -10) Revelation 4: 1 “In should be into” (J. S. T. ) Revelation 4: 2 “One sat upon the throne” Revelation 4: 3 “To look upon” “Jasper and the sardine stone. = God

It is difficult to describe God. Joseph Smith said his brightness and glory defy all description (J. S. H. 1: 17). Two precious stones that were also found in the high priest’s breastplate (held the ephod). Revelation 4: 4 Faithful members who had already died from the seven churches. Exalted! (Joseph Smith, Teachings, 107). Revelation 4: 5 “ 7 lamps of fire burning before throne” J. S. T. = 7 leaders of the churches to soon obtain Godhood. It appears to be a vision of the future.

Revelation 4: 6 “Sea of glass like unto crystal” (Doctrine & Covenants 77: 1) “Four beasts full of eyes before and behind” The earth in its eternal state! (Doctrine & Covenants 130: 6 -9) “Four beasts” Represent heaven, paradise of God, happiness of man, and happiness of beast (Doctrine & Covenants 77: 2 -3). Revelation 4: 8 “ 6 wings” symbolic of power to move and act “Full of eyes withering” light and knowledge (Doctrine & Covenants 77: 4).

Revelation 5: 1 Seven Seals Revelation 5: 2 (Doctrine & Covenants 77: 6 -7) “Strong angel” As with men, so with angels, some are greater than others. There is a rank and precedence, and there are varying degrees of power and might among God’s ministers.

Revelation 5: 5 “The lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David” “Jesus Christ” Revelation 5: 6 The J. S. T. changes “ 7 horns, 7 eyes, and 7 spirits to 12 horns, 12 eyes and 12 spirits. Also spirits to servants. Revelation 5: 8 “Four beasts” Four actual animals!

Joseph Smith said, “The four beasts were four of the most noble animals that had filled the measure of their creation, and had been saved from other worlds because they were like angels in their sphere. We are not told where they came from, and I don’t know” (Joseph Smith, Teachings, 292). Revelation 5: 10 -11 “Ten thousand times ten thousands of thousands. ” Many will make it to the Celestial Kingdom (Doctrine and Covenants 76: 67, “innumerable”).

Revelation 5: 12 -13 “Worthy is the lamb” “On the right day in London in the 1740’s you could see him walking down Brooke Street in the vicinity of Grosvenor Square. An elderly gentleman, neatly dressed in his lace coat, ruffles and three-cornered hat, he would proceed at full steam, talking to himself as if the problems of the nation were on his shoulders, and then pause abruptly to contemplate his surroundings. Flash Mob The people he passed often noticed that he spoke a mixture of two languages….

“…He was the greatest composer England ever had, though he was an adopted one from Germany… “If you had followed this curious cosmopolitan gentleman along Brooke Street to his home on August 22, 1741, you might have seen him sit on his desk in the front room and start to put notes on paper with remarkable speed. For the next 23 days he wouldn’t leave the house; his manservant would bring his meals to the room. Then, on September 14 th, after a little over 3 weeks of feverish work on the manuscript, he would shut the completed Messiah in his drawer where it would remain practically untouched for the next seven weeks!

Revelation 5: 13 “Every creature” “John saw curious looking beasts in heaven; he saw every creature that was in heaven, all the beasts, fowls and fish in heaven, actually there, giving glory to God. “I suppose John saw beings there a thousand forms, that had been saved from ten thousand earths like this, strange beasts of which we have no conception: all might be seen in heaven. The grand secret was to show John what there was in heaven…

“…Says one, ‘I cannot believe in the salvation of beasts. ’ Any man who would tell you that this could not be, would tell you that the revelations are not true. John heard the words of the beasts giving glory to God, and understood them. God who made the beasts could understand every language spoken by them” (Joseph Smith, Teachings, 291 -92).
