READING STRATEGIES "If I don't understand pages I skip them. Sometimes I skip one sentence or paragraph, sometimes I skip over pages. I never go back. " Reading strategies are conscious decisions— sets of steps that good readers use to make sense of text. Reading Strategies help students become purposeful, active readers who are in control of their own reading comprehension.
