PIN Essentials • REQUIRED: – Organization page • Updated Officer & Advisor Contact, Organization Constitution – Administrative access for officer/advisor – Maintain a roster of at least 5 members (currentlyenrolled students) – Public email address • ENCOURAGED: – Create forms – Save documents – Share photos

PIN Events and News • Increase your visibility & showcase events • REQUIRED: – Only post events that are confirmed, not anticipated – No profanity or alcohol references • ENCOURAGED: – Post events on PIN public calendar far in advance – Include detailed description of your event and organization – Post to your newsfeed and sync to social media outlets – Send to Student Organizations’ Weekly Email

Using PIN • Leadership Programs offers monthly trainings to teach students how to use PIN • Look at upcoming trainings by searching for “PIN” in the events section https: //pin. gsu. edu/events • How-to documents are available by: • • • Log into PIN Click on Atlanta Campus Student Org Resources Scroll down to the Documents section Click on View All Documents Click on the folder for PIN How-To’s

Annual Renewal Process • Re-Registration deadline is May 1 st each year. – Re-registration is an online submission through PIN during the month of April • Updates in the online submission include – Update PIN page with any advisor or officer changes during the year – Update PIN with any roster changes – Update constitution

Privileges of Student Organizations • • Be listed on the Panther Involvement Network Reserve meeting rooms and event space Petition for Student Activity fee funding Reserve vehicles through Leadership Programs for officially recognized travel sponsored by a chartered student organization • Promote or advertise the organization on campus

How to Lose Privileges • Failure to renew by May 1 st • Failure to keep PIN page current • Delinquent financial status to the institution • Violation of the Student Code of Conduct
