Responsibilities and Preparation 30% 20% Participation Laptop Pen or Pencil Notebook paper Please bring disinfectant wipes and Kleenex for class. 30% Bell work • • Grades Class Materials Turn in work and projects on time. If absent, make up any missing work. Assignments & Quizzes Start working on bell work immediately as class starts within 5 min of bell. Performances & Projects Come prepared with laptop and other supplies.

Food and Drink Policy Absences and Grades In general, food and drinks are allowed in my class. This is contingent on it not becoming a distraction in class, and as long as students can handle the responsibility. This policy is subject to change at my discretion, and at any time. It is important to make up missing work if you are absent. There are different policies for daily work and performances or projects. After School Plays You are not required to be in after school productions but it is highly encouraged. There are cast and crew positions available! We have four shows a year. One Act, Play, Musical & Senior Directed One Acts. Our Objectives 1. Understand proper presentation techniques. 2. Expressive use of the body and voice to create a realistic character. 3. Demonstrate individual and ensemble acting skills. 4. Develop an appreciation of theatre. A completed list will always be posted in the classroom. If you have any questions, please let me know. Daily work- You are given one day per day you were absent to make up the assignment. It is your responsibility to ask me what you missed. Please check Canvas first. For bellwork, ask a friend or table mate. Performances and Projects- If it is a group project or performance, please try to be there on performance day. Students have one week to reschedule their make up performance. It can be before or after school or during lunch. After the week is up, you can receive an alternative assignment for partial credit. All make up work. Devices needs to be Electronic turned into Canvas. Electronic devices should be kept in students backpacks. Devices should not be out during class, unless otherwise instructed by the teacher. 1 st Offense: Student will turn the phone into the teacher until the end of class. 2 nd Offense: Student will turn the phone into the teacher until the end of the day. 3 rd Offense: Phone will be turned into office and parents will have to pick up the device from the office.

If any of the rules are broken or there any issues that occur the following consequences may occur: 1) Meeting with the director. (Student/Teacher conference) 2) Call to agent. (Parent/Guardian contact) 3) Contact producer. (Disciplinary referral/Principal contact) Please make sure your students have the required supplies. Please contact me with any questions or concerns. Just like any theatre production, there must be production photos/videos!
