Updates on Spring Efforts • The 2018 User Verification concluded in March • Results provided more accurate information about current mainframe access. • The Departmental Systems Survey was distributed in April. • Units provided more information on People. Soft integration plans, system testing, and documentation. • System Changes webpage and table were updated in May. • Updates focused on systems impacted by the People. Soft Financials Go. People. Soft Integration Feedback • Units provided details on how systems will send and receive data to and from People. Soft • Units indicated what systems have been tested in preparation for the Financials go-live • Units gave updates on documentation that is being developed in preparation for the Financials go-live • Follow-up is needed with some units to make sure they on track. eits. uga. edu

Current and Planned Activities • An updated Master List will be available on June 8. • EITS is reviewing vendor contracts and mainframe tools to plan funding and decommission dates through FY 20. • Detailed plans for archiving historical mainframe data are being developed and will be shared with various stakeholder groups. eits. uga. edu

Key Dates • HCM-impacted Systems will be added to the System Changes webpage this summer. • Departmental Systems Surveys will be distributed on a quarterly basis. • • July 2018 October 2018 January 2019 April 2019 • All mainframe user and application IDs will be revoked July 1, 2019. • Mainframe will be decommissioned on June 30, 2020. eits. uga. edu
