Disciples Luke 7: 11 Luke 6: 19 Luke 9: 11 Luke 8: 4 Luke 5: 1 -3 One day as Jesus was standing by the Lake of Galilee, the people were crowding around him and listening to the word of God. He saw at the water’s edge two boats, left there by the fishermen, who were washing their nets. He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out a little from shore. Then he sat down and taught 12 apostles, many disciple the people from the boat.

Jesus did ‘work’ on the Sabbath by healing someone. Think & answer: 1. Was Jesus more interested in keeping rules or healing/forgiving people? 2. Is he guilty of breaking God’s command? Why/why not? 3. How did the Pharisees respond to what Jesus did? Why?
